Dao, Capiz
Dao is a 4th class municipality in the province of Capiz, Philippines. According to the 2000 census, it has a population of 30,623 people in 5,921 households.
History
In 1957 the barrio of Nasuli-B was renamed to Santo Tomas.[1]

- Jocelyn "Joc-Joc" Bolante - Alleged mastermind of 2004 Fertilizer Fund Scam. Ran for Governor in the Province of Capiz in the recent the 2010 Philippine General Election but lost to incumbent Governor Victor Tanco.
